No Bachelor in Paradise

Ten has canned Bachelor in Paradise, citing low ratings for the last season.

Of course Covid would make it tricky to film and the show’s unparalleled ability to attract toxic bros are two more reasons to give the format a rest.

The casts from this year’s Bachelor and Bachelorette must be devastated not to enjoy a budget holiday.

Meanwhile, I’m a Celeb is back Jan 3 but will be filmed in Australia.
Dancing with the Stars is canned (the Denyer curse strikes again) but there are plans to film Aus Survivor in 2021.

Survivor Winners at War finale

Well, here we are. After the next three

hours is Survivor 40 there is no more Survivor for at least this year. Noooo!

Today we’ll see who comes back from the Edge. Will all those fire token advantages pay off for those who have been out of the game long enough to accumulate them?

Now, I know the world is divided into Team Tony and Anyone But Tony (just as it was with the Golden God) but no matter what we have a fascinating few hours of TV ahead.

Yes, Edge of Extinction sucks but it is what it is. The fascinating thing will be whether the Edger can manoeuvre themselves into an on-beach alliance. Or will Michelle, Tony, Sarah and Ben finally unite to repel the enemy (given they likely have the jury vote locked up).

Go is screening Survivor “live”, from about 10am AEST time. It will screen again tonight in the usual time slot.

Do not read the comments if you are worried about spoilers as some people will watch it this morning.

Survivor Winners at War: double episode

It’s a double this week and also next, for the finale. So, yay, more Survivor, and, oh no – soon no more Survivor for ages.

It’s time for someone to return from Edge. I know it won’t be poor Adam but I would not mind seeing Natalie return.
And double episode means double Tony. And don’t we all need more Tony in our lives right now? Imagine if they had switched the order and we were instead watching last season right now? How depressing would that have been.

Australian Survivor All Stars finale

Well, here we are already. Noooo! What will distract us from our self-isolation?

We are down to the Golden God, Moana and Sharn.

Who’d have thought that Dave would have lasted this long … I know the rest of the cast did not see his whole season but they had seen enough to know what he was capable of.

GG

GG should win the final challenge (the usual endurance one of standing In a painful position until you can’t hack it). But stranger things have happened – remember the moment Lee fell and Kristie won the challenge after six hours? It was a heart-stopping moment.

Who do you WANT to win and who do you think WILL win?

The finale screens at 7.30pm on Ten with the reunion show at 9.30pm.

Australian Survivor: penultimate episode

How can this be the second last ep? What are we going to watch to distract us when Coronavirus is in full swing over the next few months?
Finale is Monday night with reunion show hosted by Osher afterwards.

Don’t miss the Jury Villa episodes on TenPlay. (They call them Ponderosa videos in the US version.)
