No Bachelor in Paradise

Ten has canned Bachelor in Paradise, citing low ratings for the last season.

Of course Covid would make it tricky to film and the show’s unparalleled ability to attract toxic bros are two more reasons to give the format a rest.

The casts from this year’s Bachelor and Bachelorette must be devastated not to enjoy a budget holiday.

Meanwhile, I’m a Celeb is back Jan 3 but will be filmed in Australia.
Dancing with the Stars is canned (the Denyer curse strikes again) but there are plans to film Aus Survivor in 2021.

Golden God on Celebrity Apprentice

Celebrity Apprentice Australia returns to our screens in 2021 and Nine has wisely poached Ten’s Australian Survivor Golden God for it.

And David Genat (he’s have to be a frontrunner, right?) is not the only Survivor alumni on the show. His former tribemate Janine Allis (Boost Juice founder) is on the show as a mentor. Really, she should be the host but Nine has decided to fly in host of the UK series, rich bloke Lord Alan Sugar.

Other reality TV people on the cast include Martha from MAFS (the one who is always make on Instagram while flogging beauty products) and The Block’s Shaynna Blaze. Perhaps Selling Houses is on hiatus due to Covid so she had a window in her schedule.

Oh and comedian Ross Noble is on it so he will should be great for confessionals.

Australian Survivor All Stars finale

Well, here we are already. Noooo! What will distract us from our self-isolation?

We are down to the Golden God, Moana and Sharn.

Who’d have thought that Dave would have lasted this long … I know the rest of the cast did not see his whole season but they had seen enough to know what he was capable of.

GG

GG should win the final challenge (the usual endurance one of standing In a painful position until you can’t hack it). But stranger things have happened – remember the moment Lee fell and Kristie won the challenge after six hours? It was a heart-stopping moment.

Who do you WANT to win and who do you think WILL win?

The finale screens at 7.30pm on Ten with the reunion show at 9.30pm.

Australian Survivor: penultimate episode

How can this be the second last ep? What are we going to watch to distract us when Coronavirus is in full swing over the next few months?
Finale is Monday night with reunion show hosted by Osher afterwards.

Survivor All Stars – Mon

Poor Hazzy Pie is gone so Brooke or AK must be next. And Brooke is an endurance challenge beast (and AK has posted on social media that he had health problems during the series) so she could be safe.

This week, someone gets some terrible news from home and has to leave (so, no, it’s nothing to do with GG’s terrible cough).
