Daisy’s Bold and the Beautiful recap – Dec

Over to our Bold correspondent Daisy (thank you):
I am sitting at my local café writing this. It’s no Il Giordino’s, but at least I don’t have to worry about any Forresters, or Sheila sneaking up to eavesdrop on me, although I’d be ok with Dollar Bill showing up to foot the bill. The menu here’s not fancy but there is no surveillance crew and I won’t get blackmailed…or kidnapped.
November saw a few more Forrester felonies. The brothers who hated each other from birth; Orange Lurch and scruffy, husky Ridge became best buddies so that they could stick it to Bill. They blackmailed a judge into ruling against him in a custody battle, and then threw the typhoon tycoon from a balcony. Now they are hoping that the new, miraculously healed Dollar Bill will let them both off the hook and not call the newly promoted Detective Sanwichez. It’s crisis time in Bill’s office with Judge Ham and the dirty-handed Forresters.
There’s trouble at Eric’s place. Or should I say, Eric and Quinn’s place? Not according to Pam, who thinks it’s still Stephanie’s house. Pam’s willing to work with the devil to destroy Quinn, but she is working with Donna instead. Donna has her cleavage out in every scene to remind Eric that he likes his honey between soft cupcakes. Eric is happy to take a ride down mammary lane with Donna, and doesn’t mind being her Honey Codger, but Quinn is ready to bring out the kitchen knives to burst their bubble.

Outside the immediate Forrester family (if that is even possible), Little Emma has taken a gracious bow-out, and cleared the field for Skeletor to get her hooks into Zander. Zander isn’t likely to fight her off. Emma is going to concentrate on dancing in white macramé, while Zander and Zoe make beautiful music in black macramé.
December will bring the usual boring Christmas episode, with everyone putting their evil deeds aside to sing carols to Honey Codger and his ivories. Babies and small children will be sleeping through the festivities like perfect little angels who won’t know who Santa is until they are 14. At least they are spared Eric’s Christmas serenade. But in the meantime Bill is calling the Forresters out on their “dirty little deeds”, and praising Saint Brooke for her heroism and integrity. It remains to be seen whether or not Quinn and Eric’s marriage will
survive, and if Bill sends the Forrester’s to jail.

In the meantime we listen to Ridge droning on about Bill’s poor parenting. Let’s hope Ridge and Judge Ham do a little time in the slammer.
I will leave you there, with Pam and Donna apologizing to each other, and vowing to be best friends forever. Santa Baby, please bring us a Bold & Beautiful December filled with revenge, romance and reaping what you sow.
Merry Christmas. 🌲Ho ho ho.

Daisy’s Bold chat – Nov

Over to Daisy for another Bold and the Beautiful wrapup – thank you!
You really have to feel sorry for the folks at B&B. All that money and power, but they just can’t hold it together. They keep their children in the attic, or the basement, and maybe throw crumbs to them. They can’t stay married for more than a couple of months, and live in great mansions, but have no cleaners or servants. No one ever has a birthday, or gets to celebrate Easter. No Easter Bunny or birthday parties for any of them.
But on the bright side, they seem to be able to teleport from home to the office, or to each other’s places. Their teeth are perfectly white but no one goes to the dentist. They run companies without doing any work. Their kids age faster than a dog, but adults stay the same age. And they can commit crimes, including murder, without going to jail.
For the month of November, I think we will see Ridge and Brooke fall apart, and perhaps into the arms of other lovers. Hope might go into labour because she has already been pregnant for about 2 months. Zoe might continue her meteoric rise to top model status, while poor Emma goes crazy with jealousy. Liam will undoubtedly remain in love with two women and will sooner or later tip the balance back to Stephie. And Kellie should be walking soon, but don’t expect to see her until she can come out and say a few wooden lines.

Katy thinks everything has fallen into place

Lurch and Katy just got married so they might break up soon. Katy has gone from man to man and is running out of options if she breaks with Orange Lurch. Bill will continue to shower Will with gifts and money, and teach him high finance, to prove his fatherly devotion. Liam and Wipes might end up working for Will.
As for the rest of the cast, they might continue to remain in suspended animation, or perhaps we will see some of them emerge to say a few lines, or have some drama unfold.
Will Bill find out he was played by Ridge? Will Ridge and the bent judge go to prison? Will Orange Lurch return to keep any of his promises to Will? Will Wipes fall for Stephie in the underwear department?
Bill teaches Will about Brazillians.

The good news has been, we haven’t seen Grams or Charlie for some time. And Sheila is keeping her head down at Il Giodino’s. Let’s hope we have a good November. Cheers B&B viewers from Daisy.

Daisy’s Bold and the Beautiful Oct chat

I love it when the writers of B&B get high, which they seem to be at the moment. The story lines are crazy, which makes the usual Lazy Susan of Love more interesting.

Stephie had a Helen Reddy moment, and decided to roar. In so doing she handed Liam to Hope, rather than making her fight for him. Hope has been confused because The High Road has always been locked in to her GPS, but now it seems Stephie knows that Route too. And doesn’t she wear it well with her black Turning Japanese look. Ridge is proud of her. Liam is proud of her. Hope is relieved and thankful. But Brooke smells an LA rat, and scrunches up her watery eyes to let us know it. Not content with running off to make her nest with Prince Charming, Hope wants to feather it too, with soft things from her Hope for the Future collection. But Ridge has given the girls a new battle ground, and Stephie tells Hope that she can’t have the baby AND the pram. Or the fashion line AND the man. Hope says, “Why not?”, and Brooke goes into the front line, claws sharpened. Brooke is on the verge of bedding Bill, but Ridge is still hoping Stephie can come out of the battle with something, although he claims it’s all just business.
On the sidelines, Thorne has been wrapping a semi-naked Katy around his little finger. (Let’s just call it that). Katy, has lost her purple undied way, wandering from one bad choice to another. As Dave said, Will could have built a meth lab in his bedroom and Katy wouldn’t know it because she has been too busy since Wipes and Thorne, having Day Sex. I guess the Social Media Department works from home.
Also on the sidelines, Bill seems to have recovered his heart from Stephie, and reveries of Brooke in the hot-air balloon are returning. Too bad. I was hoping that he would stick it to Thorne by stealing Katy back. Although I think she might need a good rinse out first.
I will leave it at that for now, although I think October might see some of the other cast step in with a few lines, such as Zander, Skeletor and little Tellytubby. And yes, hopefully Quinn might get to steam up our lounge rooms with Ridge, and bitchslap Brooke. She deserves it.
Will Hope’s baby make it to term? And will the two cousin babies be old enough to drink, and be driving cars by December? We shall see.
Have fun watching. 😊

Daisy’s Bold and Beautiful chat – September

Here’s a flashback for you:

Thorne, Caroline and Ridge circa 1989

You can see some more old photos of the Bold cast here on TenPlay.
Over to Bold correspondent Daisy (thank you!):
Spring is in the air, and Stephie has burned her bras. She is roaring like Helen Reddy. I am so proud of her kicking Liam to the kerb. Let’s hope he stays kicked. But his interest in Stephie has been fueled by her unaivailability, and proximity. So Stephie has soared in his esteem. Meanwhile Bridge both continue to sell their daughters out to the little rooster who still wants them both. Brooke has hidden some of her pushing, meddling and Stephie bashing from Ridge, but she’s been happy to buy him revealing boxer shorts and invite him to give her a lap dance on the chaise longue; their choice of wind instrument still to be determined. 😂
Bill has his tail between his legs, but only as Bill can. He is just covering his evil tracks with some fake remorse. Justin lurks, just to provide a sounding board to Bill and to sometimes throw one of his rivals out of a helicopter.
There is a fresh story line in the bowels of Forrester Creations. Pokey young Emma feels threatened by Zander’s Sexy Ex; Skeletor Zoe. She has the body of a gazelle, but the head of a horse. It remains to be seen which of Zander’s love interests will have the most evil in her bag of tricks. Zoe could invite Zander to Harry’s funeral. Emma could attempt to frame Zoe for some internet crime. All we know for sure is that Zander seems to attract jealous women.
Maya might have her real life baby soon and be allowed to have some lines. At the moment she is only hanging around in the wings, and Rick has been even more absent. We don’t know who will rise from the producer’s ashes to create havoc. So far it’s been quiet with all bar the afore-mentioned.
I predict Bridge might have to hash it out over their daughters, and Quidge might return to fog up our flat screens. It’s been nice for Eric to enjoy some geriatric marital stability before the next storm hits his mansion. Surely we haven’t seen the last of Quidge.
Anyhow, it’s bloody cold in WA so let’s hope things heat up, on and off the screen.
Thanks to those who enjoy a read, a chat and a laugh, and who keep each other amused and updated. Cheers. ☕☕☕ Daisy.

Daisy’s August The Bold and the Beautiful recap

Over to Daisy for the latest Bold chat – I hope you all saw Have You Been Paying Attention last week, when they devoted a whole segment to the glorious acting on Bold and made panellists guess how dramatic scenes ended – Admin Juz.

Here we go again. No sooner does Liam get back to Stephie, (he wasn’t even had time to unpack his undies) he learns that Hope is carrying his spawn, and once again, Liam is torn between the two women. Liam has been going back and forth between Stephie and Hope’s places faster than a tennis ball at Wimbelton. Which brings us to this; has anyone noticed him taking his suitcase, or even an overnight bag? Or does he have a wardrobe at each woman’s house. If he doesn’t now, he soon will have.
How much more can Stephie take? It seems she and Hope have boundless patience and endurance when it comes to Liam. It won’t be long before Bill is back to remind Stephie, that he is the better choice. Stephie might need a nickname for Bill, and it can’t be Stallion. Perhaps Homing Pigeon, Boomerang Bill, Bouncing Ball? (I’ll throw that one open) because he is sure to be back when he learns about Hope’s pregnancy.
Thank goodness the blackmailing of Taylor has been written out. Her acting was dreadful. But we still have to endure that pokey Emma. Oh my Gawd, she is so annoying. We have a new cast member; Wipes wall painter with the brushes in her bag, and on her face. Giant, scary black caterpillars brought in to eat Wipes’ shrubbery. I suppose she will turn out to be adept at fashion design or be a natural top model. It seems audiences must like Quinn, so new villains must be imported. Eyebrow girl looks like a villain.
Who do we think is sending Hope the nasty comments? It could be the villainness, or Sally, or Stephie, or one of the many viewers who find her grating and whiney. Why isn’t Brooke getting any of those troll messages? And speaking of Brooke, we don’t hold much hope of Ridge and her lasting too much longer. Mind you, all the marriages on B&B have a shelf life of a few months.
B&B is really testing our patience as old loves and story lines are recycled over, and over. I hope the month of July brings some good news for tragic Stephie, but I bet not. 😍 Tragic viewing, fans.
See you at 4.30, every afternoon on the lounge.

Daisy’s Bold & Beautiful chat – July

Over to Daisy (thank you) …
The Bold and the Beautiful is doing my head in, and yours too, judging from your comments. The devastating effects of Dollar Bill’s trickery and his attempts to pull the wheels off Liam and Stephie’s marriage have finally began to unfold and be exposed, as we now have a united and tentatively loved up couple bonding over sleepless nights and baby poo, but an abandoned Hope, shipwrecked on the lonely island of jilted brides. It’s an island she knows well, and it’s staffed by her mother, urging her to build a raft, or a pirate ship and push back out into the unpredictable sea of love to fight for her man, with whom she is, according to Brooke, destined to be.

New intern, Emma, gets to poke her nose into Hope’s love life.

Don’t sit back and enjoy the marital bliss between Stephie and Liam. Bill is not going to accept defeat, nor remain in the crucible of thwarted devilry. He will soon be spinning his web of evil over Liam and Stephie again, but will Wipes once again be his willing dupe? Will Justin assist him again with gritted teeth and a concerned frown? In my opininon, it’s time for Bill to turn to Brooke for assistance in tearing down Stephie and Liam’s little family nest. Not that I want Bill to succeed. I am enjoying Brooke’s defeat too much. I wish I could tell you that Brooke will have to remain with the egg of defeat on her face, but we all know that won’t happen. Ridge’s happy head cocking to one side as he salivates over his daughter’s victory, won’t last long either. Will his and Brooke’s marriage crack and crumble like a beautiful meringue?
Maya and Pam discuss what’s best for Stephie, Hope and Liam.

Meanwhile, the rest of the cast have been in the wings, awaiting their turn to return with some juicy nail-biting story lines. I am hoping for a return of Quidge to be the sledge hammer that cracks Bridge.
It seems I am too full of dramatic analogy today; like a writer for Mills and Boone. It may be the caffeine I had this morning. Readers, I will leave you with this thought; are you able to endure the tempest of Forrester/Spencer romance, heartbreak, wrath, plotting and fleeting joy for the month of July? You know I am not one for spoilers but I will tell you this; as I have previously mentioned, have heard that the iddy biddy detective will get a bigger part. Take that as you will.
Auf wiedersehen lovers. 💖💖💖💖

Daisy’s Bold and the Beautiful chat – June

I am having to slap my own face again, to remind myself that B&B isn’t real, like reality tv is, because I am investing too much heated annoyance at Brooke and Hope. Wasn’t it only two or three years ago that I was cheering on Hope to prevail over the evil Stephie? But now the tables have turned and Stephie has become the heroine, and Hope the Icing Sugar Maiden. And it’s a double headed monster, with Brooke running tandem sugar coated, innocent eyed devilry. I am reminded of the movie, The Bad Seed ; “But Mommie, I had to burn the gardener to death. He found my shoes”.
I am waiting for Ridge to wake up and realize just how much oil Brooke is throwing on the fire to encourage Hope’s seduction of Liam. I look forward to yet another couple reshuffle scuffle, with Brooke back nursing her vodka bottle…or Thorne’s…..what rhymes with Thorne?
I was wondering if Stephie might lose the baby, but pretend to stay pregnant so she could reel in Liam. My dilemma is, I want Stephie to triumph, but Liam is such a crappy prize. He and Hope are much better suited to each other as they both have delusions of sainthood.
I wonder if June will see a return of cast that have been shelved while Stephie and Hope duel it out like two cats fighting over the same dead bird. It will be good to see the more lushly browed Quinn return, preferrably with less shrubbery shadowing her eyes. She might be a good irritant for Brooke. I think Ridge should turn to Quinn for solace and advice. It would be enough to p*ss off Brooke, but keep the status quo with Eric. Eric should cancel Hope for The Future like he dropped Ridge as CEO because he kissed Caroline as it’s a company with good morals and family values. I think the family values just means that they sleep with family.
Adios amorés. I have included a pic of The Bad Seed.

Daisy’s May Bold chat

Thanks to Daisy, for her latest instalment:
Where do we go from here? Sheila has made a mysterious return to Il Giordinos. No bother to explain to the viewers where she has been. All of a sudden she is the voice of reason, calming to two cocks ready to face off, or cock off, rooster if you prefer, in a cock fight at a fancy restaurant. I am guessing Bill might have won that one had it come to blows.
Quinn has put on her serious face to threaten Bill if he hurts her baby. She won’t be able to use her Groucho Marx disguise again, as she has already been using the eyebrows. It was low of Wyatt to blab in retaliation, but I suppose he had already gone to that “dark place” he mentioned. I look forward to seeing what Wyatt’s dark place looks like……no wait! That didn’t come out right.
Hope is one of the cast getting all the lines. And she has thrown out her line, and lure, for Liam, although she won’t admit it, because that would make her bad. So instead, Hope is calling the seduction of Liam, “Supporting his marriage to Stephie” and Liam is now calling it work. I think Stephie will soon have another name for it. Brooke calls it, “All is fair in love and war”.
Stephie is using her best ammunition; letting Liam feel the baby kick. But Liam is remaining resolute and immune to his wife’s charms, still confident that her betrayal is sufficient license for him to mooch around, and soon smooch around with Hope. Hope in the meantime keeps trying to convince herself that she is entitled to grab the prize, and has enlisted Brooke to encourage her seductions.
Rick and Maya have again been left on the cutting room floor, but I think we might see Quinn and her eyebrows, along with Sheila, who might now be more afraid of Quinn because she looks a bit scarier, back in action. Ridge has just broken the law by asking a nutcase to kill Bill, and although we might not be able to see why she would, I think she might find some incentive. Perhaps her deal will be, only if you seduce Quinn. And all of this comes to us in an hour daily. That might speed up the action. I look forward to it.
BTW, yesterday at pottery, I boldy said I watch Bold, and someone said, “Nooooooo”. I don’t care. I refuse to be in a closet. I was born this way. 😊

Daisy’s March Bold chat

To all of the Aussie Bold or Beautiful, we are now in the midst of a paternity maelstrom. Stephie is lucky it’s only a toss up between two possible fathers, but it’s painful non the less as she stands to rip apart the father and son she fought so passionately to reunite. I know you are faithful followers out there, so rather than recounting February, I will instead pose some deeply disturbing questions.
1. Where the hell was Shedevil on Christmas day. We were all expecting her to be handing out a tray of lemon bars; perhaps sent over as part of Il Geordino’s catering team. Could she have turned over a new leaf? Why has she not been over in her lingerie to collect her portrait?
2. Which room will Thorne get? Will it be the adjoining suite? And does this mean that Brooke will now have to give up hopes of marrying Ridge so that she can steal Katie’s new lover? How dare Thorne move on so quickly. Will Thorne start a new line; Katie’s bedroom line?
3. Has Katie been using her telescope to eyeball Maneo?
4. Will little Lizzie ever see Santa? Or will she be a twelve year old before she is allowed to come downstairs from napping, like an American Sleeping Beauty, to finally open her presents. It’s her second Christmas and she’s still a no show. On that, who is upstairs minding her? Where is the baby monitor? And will she be a natural fashion designer? Or top model?
5. Why couldn’t Zende afford to fly home for Christmas? And will he get Sarsha pregnant, thus rubbing salt in Nicole’s wounds. Will Nicole get so mad she has a sex change, thus giving Mr Avant back the son he lost?
6. Has Ivy refused to sleep with the writers? Or did she p*ss off Stephie by being too tall and too lovely? Or did she p*ss of Quinn for being a brunette with Elizabeth Taylor blue eyes? Rumour has it, Ivy is spreading her Aussie hopes a bit further afield in the hopes of bigger stardom. Does it even get bigger than B&B?
7. Who played footsie with who under the Christmas table? Were Donna’s legs long enough to reach the big money?
8. Will Liam quit work to play stay at home dad? And if he does, will he grow let himself go and grow a pauch like Wipe’s?
Perhaps March episodes will answer some of these perplexing questions. I am just hoping, that above all, baby Willemena is a girl and that she looks like Bill and likes steak. In spite of the doctor announcing otherwise, the biggest, most burning question of all is is Bill the daddy. Wipes will want to know if he is an uncle or if he and Liam get a new baby brother or sister. The latter will be more fun.

Daisy’s Feb Bold chat

What can I say? It seems like we are on that Noddy circuit where Noddy’s car goes around and around, passing the same house, the same tree and the same mushroom. Just when we thought we had resolution on all of the storylines, it seems nope, we got comfortable for nothing because the writers are putting us on rewind. Sheila is the gift that keeps on giving. What on earth does she need to do before Eric says “Enough”? Now we can expect she will be back in the Forrester mansion to collect her portrait, and we can expect another run in with Quinn, perhaps even another catfight. I wonder if writers find that sexy. Maybe Quinn and Sheila should tear each other’s shirts off next time.
Pam has lost her tiny mind and is primed to be Sheila’s bestie, which has Charlie freaking out.

Liam thinks he caught a lucky break when Stephie came home and married him again. He’s walking on a cloud, and clouds are only made of tiny drops of water, so we can expect him to come crashing to earth. He’s already been stupid enough to think that having coffee with Sally won’t get him into trouble. Will Sally leave an earring behind for Stephie to find? Bill just might be able to whisk Stephie off in his helicopter yet.
Pretty little Darlita has been given a few more lines to speak. We might see more from her. She can act as well as any of them. We have a new Thorn, now a talented designer and some of those designs are on Brooke. Brooke will run to Thorn as it seems that the sexual tension between Quinn and Ridge can’t be denied. Those two are doing a great job playing the lovers who aren’t lovers.

I think that about covers the various messy predicaments that the Forresters, Spencers and Spectras have currently
Image

managed to entangle themselves in. Even as I write this Sally is telling Liam that she can’t stop thinking about him, and now Bill and Stephie replay the night that the magic happened.
Well as I put on my slippers and head off to bed, my simple life has been coloured by a little LA razzle and dazzle. I hope yours have too. 😄
