All I Want For Christmas.
Well I have all my teeth, so, Dear Santa,
1. I would like Shedevil gone, promptly and finally. I would be happy for Charlie to accidently shoot her. She is too annoying.
2. Grams gets written out with perhaps a heart attack…no wait…falls from the top floor of the new Spectra building. Or the newly designed elevator plummets, taking Grams with it, but landing on Sol. Why not.
3. Quinn slips from Mateo’s oily grip, and Mateo is exposed as being Shedevil’s pawn. Really, the groundsman fondles your naked wife? BTW, there is a guy coming to clean our windows on Saturday…..🤔
4. Liam goes too far with Sally who has already confessed her interest. Perhaps Sally could buy a new bed and ask Liam to help her try out the inner springs. He does so, just out of generosity but Stephie walks in and rejects their claims of innocence. In Liam’s effort to save the world, he seems stuck on saving the corny, sassy redhead.
5. Stephie finally gives Liam the flick, citing his ridiculous obsession with Sally. Stephie runs to Bill, and Liam realizes he has lost his one and only love. Liam, Liam, Liam. You should have known. I still haven’t given up on Stephie having Bill’s baby. That would make Liam it’s uncle? I think. It does get confusing. But never mind. It will get sent to boarding school at 6 weeks.
6. Sarsha and Zende get forced together and Nicole kidnaps …whatever that baby’s name is. Rick and Maya finally admit they were selfish and asked too much of Nicole.

Oh and my big wish…the Forresters skip their chummy, ski jumper Christmas episode. We know they won’t so my second wish is that they invite Mateo and Sheila. So instead of Charleee shooting Shedevil, she can get electrocuted by the Christmas lights on the Forrester tree as she hides behind it to spy on Quinn.

Now I know I have just written a lot of silly nonsense and haven’t done the show justice. But I still might tick off my wish list as it happens over December because after all Santa, I have been nice not naughty.
Viewers, any requests for Santa? Any predictions for December.
And I was thinking about signature songs. I have one for Arjay; Daddy’s home.

The Bold and the Beautiful – Nov thread

Thank you to TBATB correspondent Daisy for her latest installment:

October was a big month for Bold and the Beautiful. The world was turned up side down at Spencer Publications than back again, then on its ear as righteously indignant, spoilt boy Liam launches a company coup from his father because his dad is unworthy to run the company. To be fair Bill did railroad Thomas and Sally Spectra’s love affair with lies that Caroline is dying, and he did hasten his purchase of the Spectra building by sending a capable electrician from Happy Days in to start an electrical fire. But other than that, Bill has kept his nose pretty clean. Will Bill survive Liam’s company take-over? I am thinking the worm may turn yet again and Liam will end up running to Forresters to become a top fashion designer…..in a week. In the meantime Stephanie has given Liam a few withering, long-suffering looks that said, “Just leave it alone, Liam”.
It’s been quiet at the Avant camp but now Nicole, Maya and little what’s her name have returned with the baby cooing, “Mama” at Nicole. Maya needs to come up with a plan to stop this immediately, and drive a wedge between mother and daughter, so instead of simply staying and looking after her own kid, she tells Rick to exile Nicole and Zende to Paris. Not to shabby an exile.
Shedevil Sheila is still chasing after Eric and believes that all she has to do is remove Quinn from the frame. Literally. Will she succeed in throwing Quidge back together or will Cherrlee manage to actually behave like a security guard and boot her from the premises. So far it seems, Cherrrlee’s view is; “In for a penny, in for a pound”. Perhaps Sheila has taken a couple of Cherrlee’s curly grey’s and put them in a voodoo doll.
Brooke has been quiet lately. She’s either off selling kaftans, or been home watching Robert de Niro and Al Pacino movies, so she can adjust to her new role, married to the mob. Brooke now has an excuse to dump Bill, unless she sees herself making intimate visits to the jail.
But not sure that Brooke and Ridge are ready to reunite. There may yet be more unrequited sizzle to squeeze from Quidge.
Coconut and Arjay have pulled their heads in since nearly getting arrested, and speaking of arrests, did the producers have to pay the Gumshoe Gourmand for the recent episode since that was only a dream?
Bets on Thomas staying with Caroline; and by “staying”, I mean lasting two weeks. Can hard-nut Sally win back her rich sweetheart?
It seems like November is going to be full of adventures, scheming, twists and turns as the fashionably pampered of LA work through the challenges of getting through one day without a fire, a murder, a fashion line heist or a stolen baby.

Bold and the Beautiful – Oct chat

As promised, here is the B&B update for October/Novevember. There are a lot of weird things happening at the moment. Perhaps it’s a full moon in LA. Shelia the Shedevil has gone all Dorian Grey. Her portrait seems to have evil powers. Cherrrleee is playing with fire hanging out in her apartment. He better get out of there before Shedevil uses his hair and bones for an incantation.
Katy and Wipes have a stomache churning thing going on. Wipes is using his usual technique of wearing the girl….or woman down, by pressuring her until she gives up and marries him. The only difference this time is Katy isn’t dating Liam. So that’s a fresh approach for Wipes. Bill is sure to express his disgust when he finds out his ex wife is dating his son.
Behind the scenes this week, Thomas is off renewing his relationship with Caroline and Douglas, the miracle talking child with the voice of a middle aged woman. It would have been smarter if writers had recognized that babies don’t usually talk so eloquently on the phone. Anyhow, that leaves Sally and the Spectras on hold, and no doubt they will soon hatch a plan to win Thomas back from the not-so-terminally ill Caroline.
Maya and Zende are being positioned by writers for some hot and heavy, while Nicole swans around in terry towelling with Rick. She managed to give up her maternal urges pretty quickly and signed her baby over, choosing to get back into modelling. It should be fun to watch how the Avant sisters’ love life plays out. But whatever happened to Sarsha. She needs to come back and stir the pot.
In the meantime Brooke and Bill, and Liam and Stephie are doing something B&Bers never do; settle into a quiet, stable marriage. Of course that won’t last.
Bravo to Eric, the most forgiving man in the world because Quinn “touched something he didn’t know he had” (that’s what happens when you can’t see over your belly), and he and Quinn are back together. But they are heading into rough seas as Shedevil is just getting warmed up. Won’t Pammy give Cherrrleee what for.
Now for the ttv nominations; and the categories are; scariest villain, most insipid, face you most want to punch, person you most want written out, sexiest and I suppose we should include a best actor and actress category, and worst actor/actress.

Bold and the Beautiful August chat

Over to TBATB correspondent Daisy for what’s been happening with the Forresters:
It’s a good time for a new B&B thread. Old stories are closing and new ones are beginning. The mystery of “Who shot Quinn”, has been solved, and in spite of the many suspects and possibilities, it was Deacon, who is now back in the slammer. Will they ask him, “Where have you been?” since he is an escapee; the one no one ever looked for, it seems. We have a new villain Sheila, possibly to take over from Katy so that she can go back to playing a wishy-washy victim. Quidge are heating up again, with lust blossoming to love. Will Ridge lose interest now that the L word has been used? Afterall, their passion has been built on a foundation of mutual despising. On the subject of Quidge, Charleee has dropped the ball. Whatever happened to the hanky with the lipstick? And why doesn’t Charleee have any cop friends who could have done a DNA check?
There is a new twist in the Avant plot line, and it’s about time. As we all predicted from the moment she agreed to carry a child for Maya and Rickk, Nicole now wants her baby back, so the loving bond between sisters is now going to turn into some major soap brawling, and bawling. Sides will be taken as the Forresters waste office hours discussing the ins and outs of the Maya-Rick-Nicole triangle. Quadrangle if you include Zende.
Brooke and Bill are honeymooners now and begin their new life together. I will give that a couple of weeks. Wyatt has finally accepted his receding hairline and agreed to wear a bit of a rug. Liam and Stephie are going well, especially as Liam is happy to listen to her bitch about Sally Spectra. Sally has gone straight, but I bet Sol isn’t. Why no gays in this show? Oh yeah, Caroline’s invisible mums. Gays are covered.
Coco is as riveting as wilted spinach. Her roles are mainly filler ATM. Sally and Thomas are going great guns, with Thomas giving her, and her business makeovers she hadn’t requested. Did she even notice his control?
I will leave it there, as a caffé latté awaits me. I look forward to the chats we will have as Eric finds he’s been cucked, and Sheila turns her venom on her rival, Quinn.

Bold and the Beautiful – June chat

Over to BnB correspondent Daisy for the scoop on Quidge and co (thank you, Daisy):

I will be off to Vietnam for a month so I won’t be able to watch Australian episodes, so I will follow the goings on at Forresters here, and watch when I return.
So here is what is happening, what I might happen and what I would like to happen. You might want to add your own.
Quidge are smouldering. Boring, nice Katy has shown that she can be a horrible meddler and a blackmailer. I am guessing she might crank that up, until Quidge get caught by Eric. I am hoping that Quidge continue but I know they won’t because no one ever does on B&B.
At time of writing, Brooke is ready to to get back in the saddle and ride her stallion; or will that be bareback? OK, now I need to get that image out of my head. I would like to see Brooke and Bill last for a while, and Quidge. They would make good jealous rival couples.
Rick and Maya are on a basic retainer and doing nothing. Who cares? Nicole is amazing how she manages to perform while on sleeping tablets. I guess she and Zende will soon be back having marital problems. At least Sacha had some spark.
I hope Sally reforms and starts designing her own hideous clothing. I don’t mind her and Thomas together. Coco os behaving like another boring, goody goody Nicole. She and Arjay deserve each other but why should we be punished? Please let there be a budget cut, either at B&B productions or at Spectra. Lose Grams, Sol and stupid Darlita. But that won’t happen.
When Eric finds Ridge and Quinn gone down (literally) to make a sandwich one night and finds them on the floor, rolling in honey, he might have another brain attack. Katy will swoop on Eric at some point. For sure.

Over to B&B correspondent Daisy for the soapie scoop (thank you, Daisy!):
Is it just the painkillers I am taking, or has B&B really driven off the rails and gone into some crazy Alice in LA maze of weirdness? I think the writers might be sitting around with large hookahs because all has gone haywire in Forrester land. I know we complained that it needed new blood; that they should be looking outside of the family circle to marry and make babies, but did it have to be The Resurrection of all things Spectra.
The B&B producers have gone so far as to make clones of each Spectra persona from decades ago. Now that might not be so bad if they didn’t have to be so corny, but there is so much corn on B&B now that aliens can make crop circles. It’s so bad, that they even have replaced Darla with a Darlita, who you wouldn’t even hire to bring in your mail. Producers have hired three pretty actresses who are insulting their craft by having to ham it up, to go with the corn. Ham, corn and cheese overload. And don’t get me started on the gaudy Granny. Spectras are making Forresters appear normal.
It sure didn’t take much to get Sally to quit designing and turn to espionage. Anyhow we can see where all that is heading, with little Coco being caught spying, and new love triangles surfacing. But what I want to know is, why on earth is Ridge marrying Brooke, when will Quidge NOT have sex, like they are NOT kissing, why is Ridge marrying Brooke when he is so hot for Quinn, and will Katie be the dibber dobber or Charlie or Ivy? How many people will learn about Quidge before Eric does? And why is Ajay so annoying?

The Bold and the Beautiful – April chat with Daisy

Over to Daisy for another B&B recap and chat (thank you, Daisy):
While some might be getting sick of the musical chairs of relationships, engagements, marriage and divorce; it’s just getting interesting for me with the advent of Quidge. I really hope writers don’t let us down with this one. I want the fur to fly even more than with a wave of a Sally Spectra Boa scarf. While Quinn is trying to pour cold water on her rising lust for Ridge, and maintain her position as lady of the manor, or High Priestess of the Forrester clan; she is finding Ridges spell impossible to resist. Yep, Ridge is living up to his notoriety and Quinn’s resolve melts every time he breathes his husky garlic breath in her ear.
Between chasing after Eric and rerouting mail and newspapers to the big house, Katy, who doesn’t have to knock, has sprung Quidge in a little Last Tango in LA embrace, and has now got her blood hound nose on to get more hard evidence of a crime. Instead of running and tattling to Brooke like a good sister, she challenges the would-be lovers and gives Ridge a lecture on appropriate behaviour. Katy, that might include wiping your lippy off your wine glass when you have a rendezvous with Papa Forrester. It will be fun when Brooke returns to find her nemesis has stolen her man, or two of them now.
As usual, no one is actually doing any work. Stephie has been sitting around with Nicole discussing how blessed she is. But she is soon to have help, as Eric has once again thrown the CEO lotto balls into the air and, for the time being, made Ridge co-CEO. Maya and Rick are home with the baby. Nicole is pretending to be executive material. And wounded, passed over Thomas and Zende have been hanging out at a bar, where…..wait for it….(and it wasn’t hard to guess) a hot young spitfire, redhead named Sally (withholds the surname) Spectra introduces her gutsy, flamboyant self to Thomas. The girl has been working hard because she has impersonated her Grandma to a tee. I just hope she doesn’t have to wear those grandma fuzzy wraps all the time. I suspected there must have been a reason for Eric’s recent trip down the Sally Spectra memory lane. Anyhow, Sally Spectra take 2 should be a bit of fun. It probably means that there will now be a competing fashion house, and let’s hazard a guess that it is young, resentful Thomas who is the first Forrester talent to be scalped.
BTW, keep watch. Stephie and Nicole have been wearing wigs, and they have been very obvious.
I wanted to embarrass Juz on the bus again with another steamy pic of Stephie and Liam, but I think our newcomer deserves a shot. Happy viewing B&Bers.

You Bold and Beautiful fans love a good ole natter about the show (with a few forays into Dr Phil territory), so it’s time for a new thread. What should I call you? Boldies? Beauties? Or just mad as cut snakes …

We start off with a cliffhanger this month. Isn’t it poignant to have Brooke on a ridge with Ridge. Too bad Bill wasn’t using his tracking device. He would have pushed Ridge off that cliffhanger.
Brooke is as mature as the most popular girl at school; the nasty one who got her boobs first.
As it’s also the start of the new year, it’s great that Katy has a new house. I wonder what her housewarming gifts will be. From Eric, a pair of diamond earrings. From Quinn, a poisoned apple. At least Quinn won’t have to travel far to put a nasty thing in her mailbox. I look forward to seeing Eric collecting the paper from the front lawn and apologising to Katy when his brunch coat slips open. Does anyone expect Quinn’s portrait to remain in pride of place for the whole year?
To Rick and Maya; how much more will these two be able to congratulate each other on their own choices and righteous behaviour. “How dare Zende run to Sasha?” Well, let’s see…anyone recall Rick running off to late night bubble baths because he found out Ridge kissed Caroline? I would rate kissing another man a 7 no no, and getting into the stirrups at the gynecologist’s room to have more of Ricky’s sperm injected into you…oh…at least a 10. I have my fingers crossed for Sasha and Zende. As for Nicole, they could get her dummy for Madam Trussaud’s wax museum to play her. What happened to the little spitfire that used to “love to party” by daggy dancing over a martini with Wipes? Nicole won’t be satisfied until Zende removes his nuggets and has them gold plated and gift wrapped.
And all the current spare cast will probably come into play again soon: Thomas and Caroline, Stephie and Liam, Ivy and Wipes. Look forward to it all.
Oh…and B&B cast and crew…welcome to our beautiful country. We hope you love it and Bill whisks Brooke away to one of our major tourist attractions. Onyer cobber!

What a roller coaster November was and now we are into December I can sense Sarah has already been peeling back the corners of her Christmas gifts to see what’s under her tree. At the Forresters’ we have that elusive power shift once again, this time to the evil, now Mighty Quinn. Has she reeeeally changed? Hmmm. Let’s see; she has been manipulating Ivy to manipulate Liam. Probably not changed since kidnapping Liam and attempting to murder Deacon.
Brooke and Bill have gone quiet. What is he up to? I am guessing something to do with the fake wedding conducted by Chaz Bono. It’s kind of time for Bill to step up to interfere in Stephie, Liam and Wyatt’s life again. And it seems like that wedding champagne, and his sex life, has been on ice too long.
As for the Avant offshoot, what will crazy Nicole do? She used to be so excited about being a Forrester model, but now she has become Rick and Maya’s personal incubator. I am thinking little Lizzie’s brother might come asking for another sister. Anyway, now that Sasha looks like being pushed out of Thomas’s arms, she will be able to swoop on Zende again, should Nicole decide hatching more babies for Rick and Maya is a good idea. It kind of has become her new job.
A lot to anticipate for December. How long before Stephie gets the tattoo removed? Will anyone show up at Thanksgiving while Quinn sits at the head of the table? Will Brooke and Bill elope or will she continue to make muffins for Ridge. Will Ridge, Thomas and Rick quit Forrester and start a rival company? Probably not. Will Brooke burn the Christmas turkey, and will Pam make lemon bars for the Christmas party?
Any Christmas wishes for the Forresters? I’ll go; I hope Rick and Maya ask Sasha to have their babies. I hope Stephie’s tattoo removal doesn’t leave too much of a scar. 😉

Here’s Daisy’s update:
Just a quickie (as Brooke said to Bill) this month B&Bers. Will Quinn make some fuzzy balls to hang from her rear view mirror? Deacon has mysteriously disappeared again. Has he been kidnapped or murdered? And Ivy’s scruples that she held so dearly, along with her Aussie accent, have also disappeared. I am guessing the Yankees couldn’t bear the sound of our accent and wrote it out. Waaah. How dare they.
I am sure there are team Wyatt and team Liam viewers. ATM I am team Liam because Wyatt, although not murdering anyone yet, has been too pushy in whisking both Hope and Stephie to the altar. He learned, “Never give up pushing until you get your way” from his mum.
Those on team Wyatt might say in his defense that Liam is a sook.
Will Brooke marry Bill? Will Pam marry Cherrrlee and Brooke sleep with him? Does Cherrrleee earn enough for Brooke to sleep with him? And will Thomas now go back to taking his shirt off for Ivy? Have fun with November Forresters.
