They’re the weakest cooks (by an order of magnitude), but I’m still kinda cheering for Josh and Austin. The Peruvian girls are obnoxious, I flat-out dislike Victor and G (Victor is even more immature than Josh and Austin), and something about the mum and son just, I don’t know, I find them very grating.
The show is really going downhill. Cooking for kids to try to get into semi final.
I’m not sure how comfortable I am that they’ve locked Pete Evans in a room full of impressionable young children, though.
I don’t think he would actively harm any children. He prefers influencing their parents to be stupid and thoughtless and ignorant of science.
G kind of reminds me of that little kid from the wedding singer, “hey Linda, you a bitch”
As predicted, Victor throws a gigantic tantrum after being the first team knocked out, and storms out of the building swearing his head off.
Victor, if Josh and Austin look mature and reasonable, compared to you? Then you got problems, son.
Manu wants them to “grate dishes”

The boys left with their heads held high, a great critique from the judges and a good deal more class than Victor & G.
They did, didn’t they? They were really dignified and grateful for the experience.

What’s the point of inviting the kids to eat but they have no say in the scores. It’s all up to the 2 judges to decide who is being eliminated.

Exactly and I think Pete and Manu bumped up some scores to make it seem closer. Was it John and Lisa’s duck they claimed to be their best dish of the comp and then scored 8?
Exactly. Mum and son got three 10’s in their first instant restaurant. If it is the best, it should be a 10.
