Just a reminder there’s no Survivor Sunday due to the NRL. So we get episodes Monday and Tuesday and then the final three eps the following week. Yep, that’s right, at this stage we are expecting the Survivor finale will be on Tuesday, followed by the “live” (ie prerecorded) reunion show. But at least we get a reunion show this year and hopefully a few of last year’s contestants will be invited.
This Melbournite doesn’t apprecite fave shows being shafted for NRL!
Anyways re the finale – apparently some of last seasons players didn’t get an invite and even some family / friends of current season, didn’t either, so i don’t think it will get the same vibe as the US season finale. I’ve read elsewhere that the finale is October 10.
Not sure why they moved it up thou – what will they be putting on in place of it I wonder?

I like S1 of MF, but the smart alecky speed talking got faster and faster and I can’t speed listen. It’s really annoying, especially Alex.

Exactly, makes total sense to not have The Block since NRL is on Ch9, but not everyone wants to watch NRL – so i don’t see why Survivor can’t be on. i guess thats why i’m not a program director thou!
(And i don’t assume everyone is into the AFL either – but at least they have it on a Sat arvo!)
To be fair, I am looking forward to the NRL grand final, but yeah, kinda pissed that I’m gonna miss out on Sunday night’s episode of “Survivor”, though. I wanna see what happens now they’ve gotten rid of Luke, damn it.

Ch 10 should have realised that the game was a massacre at half time and screened Survivor….but no, they played their immunity idol and chickened out.
Yeah, the game was pretty underwhelming. Sometimes, finals games are mesmerising, and you can’t take your eyes off the screen even for a second.
Last night? I was pretty bored by halftime, so I just started playing chess on the computer. The Cowboys were just never really in the fight. It made for a dull game.
