Tomorrow: Victorian brothers Tim and Mat see their renovated 1950s weatherboard cottage for the first time. Have the teams nailed the chippies’ house rules.
Tuesday: Sunshine Coast couple Shayn and Carly hand over the keys to their tiny double brick home. (Windsong – is this the one in your area?)
House Rules is beating MasterChef in the ratings some nights and they tend to swap spots as the week progresses, but both are being trounced by Lego Masters – due I guess to its cross-generational appeal. And the Hamish Blake-hosted Lego show has helped boost sales of the classic toy.

General chat for week 2 of House Rules. I know there are a lot of anti-Jamie people out there – is he growing on you at all?
House Rules is screening on Seven Mon-Wed at 7.30pm, then on Sunday at 7pm it’s the usual room reveal. Yet again they are spreading the judging over two nights – groan – with the home owners giving their scores on Monday.
Seven is airing the House Rules premiere at 7pm as a lead in to the MKR grand finale at 8pm.
Seven is promoting House Rules as starting “after Easter”, no doubt the day after MKR ends.
