Sad to see John go last week but what a fun tribal that was.
Let’s hope Davie and Nick can keep the Goliath uprising on track.

Alas, Elizabeth, you were one of the early faves but you just did not have the numbers.
Now, will the brochacho alliance keep Christian safe for another night?
Surely Carl and Davie are on the chopping block? Although Davie has an idol, right, and Carl has some kind of idol nullifier. Let’s hope the Strikeforce can keep Gabby safe.

Survivor: Merge time
It’s merge time on David V Goliath – hooray! Will Christian reunite with Nick and form a trio with Mike, while keeping Gabby as his No. 1 girl and his bromance with wrestler John and “I used to weight a million pounds” Dan. Will someone finally give their jacket to Angelina of the Unflattering Silver Pants? I know the cast does not always get to choose their own clothing but surely lycra gym gear in silver is not the best option for the humid Fiji climate.

I really hope they do an endurance challenge today where Jeff offers people goodies to step down early. Usually it’s food but I would love to see what happens if he offers a jacket.

Some thoughts: Pat was a great shelter builder and was horribly unlucky but that guy was not going to last beyond second tribal.
Did anyone else think lawyer-from-the-holler guy was doing a Fairplay and lying about his addict mum? That was my first thought. Guess I’ve watched too much Survivor!
That older Goliath woman with the dreads is a goner.
Wrestler dude will at least make the merge.
You know the weather is REALLY bad in Fiji when the local boaties actually don wet weather gear.
Champions – I mean Goliaths – are rubbish at building shelters.

Survivor: David v Goliath starts soon
The new season of US Survivor begins this week, screening here on Go on Thursday at 8.30pm.
It’s a 90-minute premiere. Don’t know about the David V Goliath concept but always happy to have three nights of Survivor on TV.
Oh, and if you don’t want to wait until 8.30pm, Nine usually puts it up online mid-afternoon.
