Bachelorette Angie starts Wed

Angie’s season of The Bachelorette starts on Wed, Oct 9 on Ten.
Usually it starts straight after Bachie but this year we got breathing space so Ten could show The Masked Singer (and not be up against The Block).
I am hopeful for a season without hours devoted to whether someone called the supposed object of their affections a dog c***. And I am predicting much less dry humping.
I’d love to see a Bach date where they do barefoot bowls, get Maccas drive through, go shopping at IKEA, have to buy Christmas gifts for a local charity etc. fewer sports cars and more real life.

Bachelorette: Week 5

On Wednesday: Home towns are around the corner and Ali needs to make some tough decisions. At this stage, who does she have chemistry with, and are there any solid connections?
On Thursday: Sharing special moments with two Bachelors on their home soil has Ali on cloud nine, however, on the final two home-town visits, not all goes to plan.

Sophie’s almost here! Bachelorette starts tomorrow

Hooray! Sophie’s here! I’m hoping for a season with far less pashing on than Matty’s Bachelor season.
We get a 90-minute premiere tomorrow and tomorrow night 70 mins for the first date.

(Matty’s first date was with Elora, and we know who that turned out. Georgia Love’s first date was with Jake, the tall, dark, brooding chap. Sam Wood picked Sarah. Umm, was she the blonde one who made final three? Sam Frost chose Dave the plumber and Richie picked Nikki.)
Interview with Sophie here.
One of the contestants is professional polo player Bingham Fitz-Henry, 25. Do we think this is his real name?
The Bachelorette Australia screens on Ten, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7.30pm.

The Bachelorette Australia is not far off

There’s a new promo for Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette Australia. Last year Ten screened Georgia Love’s season straight after Richie picked Alex (ah, one out of two ain’t bad) and it’s likely they’ll do the same again.
Before we know it it will be Matty’s turn to break someone’s heart – the only question is whether that someone will then be cast as The Bachelorette in 2018. And then, subsequently, Hell’s Kitchen Australia.
