The Khoo is back! After an all-too-short stint on MKR, Rachel Khoo is coming back to Australia to help pastry chef extraordinaire Adriano Zumbo with his upcoming show, Just Desserts, which sounds like MasterChef, but with sweets. How much it’s like GBBO remains to be seen.
She’s a great pick, as in past TV outings on MasterChef Zumbo has looked like he’d rather be in the kitchen baking than speaking in front of the camera. I’m looking forward to this one – no air date as yet.
I am looking forward to this one too. I hope Zumbo is not going to let the producers telling him how to act. Agree he rather be baking then stand in front of the camera but hopefully he is honest with his critique.

This sounds like it will be good. I like both Zumbo & Khoo.
BTW new UK baking competition with Tom Kerridge: Bake Off Creme de la Creme. “Celebrated chef Tom Kerridge hosts the search for Britain’s best team of pastry chefs. The teams must create elaborate patisserie and desserts for judges Benoit Blin, Claire Clark and Cherish Finden.” I’m checking out the first episode.
